    About MP4 files

MP4 (MPEG-4 Part 14) is a widely used digital video container format that stores video, audio, subtitles, and metadata in a single file. It supports efficient compression (e.g., H.264/AVC or H.265/HEVC) while maintaining good quality, making it ideal for streaming, downloads, and sharing. MP4 is highly compatible with most devices, media players, and online platforms (e.g., YouTube, smartphones) due to its standardized structure. Though less flexible than MKV, it balances quality, file size, and universal playback support. We can also convert MP4 files to animated images (e.g., GIF , WEBP , APNG)
