Batch Convert JP2 to JXL Online
How does it convert to JXL?
With this converter , you can convert one or multiple JP2 file(s) to multiple sizes of JXL files,
and resize the JXL files with width/height in the Options.
Open the Options dialog , to set the new width and height as desired.
You can also upload a directory for batch converting.
Save Name : You can set {name} , {width} , {height} to resize the new JXL image files.
If multiple files need to convert , you must set {width} and {height} tags to distinguish files of different sizes.
{name} is same as the filename of the source file.
Width and Height :
You can customize the width/height of JXL files.
The maximum of width/height is 4000px.

If you upload a
pic.jp2 , 2 JXL files will be converted and named as below :
pic_1000_1000.jxl Width and Height: 1000x1000

About JP2 files
The JP2 file format, also known as JPEG 2000, is an advanced image compression standard developed to improve upon the original JPEG format. It supports both lossy and lossless compression, offering higher image quality at smaller file sizes. JP2 files are often used in professional fields like medical imaging, digital cinema, and satellite photography because of their ability to maintain fine details and dynamic range. Unlike traditional JPEG, JP2 uses wavelet compression, which reduces visual artifacts and provides smoother gradients. Although it offers better performance, JP2 is less commonly supported by standard image viewers and web browsers.
